Why try our parasails?
Of course all parasail manufacturers claim to have best parasails and we are no exception.

- Most other brands are copies of one another usually a basic 16 gore chute. Our parasails are 20 gore, which perform better and are more stable.

- Our parasails are fabricated using the same techniques as skydiving chutes. All seams are sewn to Federal Standard 751, type 300, class 301 double needle lock stitch using 8.516 minimum tensile strength nylon thread at MILSPEC VT295.

- We have replaceable suspension lines and yokes. So if these parts are damaged, we can mail replacements out immediately. The operator performs the repairs so there is less down time for the parasail.

 

- Our parasails outshine other brands in difficult areas, for example areas with high land formations surrounding the operating area causing gusty wind in places such as Lake George, New York state, Queenstown, New Zealand and the fresh water lakes throughout Europe. If you work in a congested waterway like our operation on Sydney Harbour, you require a parasail you can rely on. Sydney Harbour is one of the busiest harbours in the world with yacht and skiff races held regularly. We also share the harbour with ferries, jet cats, ships and other pleasure craft. "In my experience working in this type of area, I have not found another brand of parasail that could perform better." Parasails must be predictable, not lean or lose height, especially at critical times. With our parasails you can run large sail area to low ballast weight this means larger variations of weight ratios and better fuel consumption.

- Other brands are usually made of sailcloth or new materials with fancy names but no parasailing history. At Parasail Australia we have our fabric specially manufactured to our specifications, this material is similar to the same fabric used in para-comando skydiving chutes, it absorbs shock load, it is strong and durable but waterproof with zero porosity. We have been using this material for over a decade and find it faultless. Our parasails perform better with age; they don't need rinsing after using in a salt-water environment.

- All size parasails have large adjustable vents. The parasails do not lose stability when the vents are open.
