Group Economy

We offer a group discount for a minimum of 8 flyers at $55 per person, flying in tandem. The duration of the trip is usually 1 hour per boat load of 10 to 12 parasailers.

Generally boarding is from Manly Wharf, although pickup from other vessels, harbour beaches or wharves can be arranged. There is usually no extra charge if the pickup is in our vicinity, such as Store Beach or Balmoral Beach Wharf. Extra charges may apply for pickups further away.

The parasail vessels have a maximum capacity of 12 plus 2 crew. Groups larger than 12 are evenly divided. Each tandem has the choice of getting wet or staying dry (though some "friends" insist on everyone getting dunked). The towline is extended to a maximum 150 meters or 450ft. The ideal flight time is 7 minutes.

For groups larger than 12, other activities are available for those waiting the return of the parasail boat:-

  • The famous Manly Beach, swimming, surfing, boogie boarding
  • Skipper Boat Hire (no license required)
  • Kayak hire
  • Rollerblading
  • Waterworks (water slides)
  • Oceanworld
  • Three Restaurants on Manly Wharf, over 50 in Manly
  • Bar on the wharf

There are picnic tables in the shade of the Norfolk pines next to the parasail wharf. Doing parasailing as a group activity makes a great day out and is accessible to a broad range of people.
